WAVES & MUSIC
What do surfing and electronic music have in common? At first glance, they may seem like very different activities, but there are interesting similarities between these two forms of expression, and a great representative of this passion is DJ, surfer, and music producer Buranello.
Experienced in a vibrant social environment, while surfing requires excellent physical and mental shape to challenge waves and maintain balance on the board, electronic music is often associated with intense emotional states, with fast-paced rhythms and pulsating beats that can energize and inspire its listeners. And it is with these skills that Buranello, raised on the sands of Maresias in the North Coast of São Paulo and in Southern California, has been developing his style.
With a respected academic background, the artist, at just 22 years old, studied Introduction to Music Production at Point Blank Los Angeles in 2018 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Production and Sound Engineering from Point Blank London..
In his upcoming release, Buranello makes his debut on the renowned Enormous Vision label with the track "Rising," which continues a streak of great releases that have been earning this young artist more and more recognition.
Buranello is an artist who values the use of organic musical instruments and sounds extracted from nature in his productions. "My main influences in music production currently are Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren. I highly value sonic naturalness, and you will always notice natural, organic instruments in my tracks... I usually play, record, and make small adjustments in the intensity and positioning of the notes to avoid sounding too 'robotic'." - Buranello.
